In the summer beta, you basically had overstock for a while because your medals would stack once your reached your kickback. It was pretty bad and ND put your kickback medals as a limit.
What would overtsock do in competitive other than to make it even more of a power weapon festival than it already is?
Anyway, you can already stack medals (kinda), if you collected 10 medals but you're using a 7 medal kickback, change your loadout to one with a Kickback that has a 10 medal cost, it will be available. Not extactly the same, I know, but not many take advantage of that.
We already have bargain though. Isn't that kinda the same thing?
Overstock allows you to earn six extra medals after you've reached your kickback limit. Isn't Bargain just two medals less?
And what would happen if OS was a slot 2 booster and could be used with Bargain? Help!
I agree that Overstock in competitive would unbalance things. Post patch 1.18 (now that the game is more balanced than it's been in a long time) or in a future game, definitely not in favour of this.
On the coop side, I prefer Overstock to Bargain when using Team Medic because although at gold levels both allowed you to activate Team Medic the same number of times (with the same number of medals), with Overstock, you were already part of the way to the next kickback right after using it (provided you had actually filled your Overstock).
