SAVE BROKEBOMB

Make you unvulnerable for 3 seconds after using it.

Like this you won't die throuhg the use. Unless there's ultra lag.

The issue is always lagg. Since you are teleported already and there is no possibility they could have hit you on that location.

Sorry, but its just lag. Invulnerability wouldn't help, as the lag bullet is just late to register, so it would still kill you. And invulnerability is OP, b/c if you remember where you last spawned, you can use smoke bomb to spawn there to tactically get the jump if you know enemies are there, and they won't be able to kill you.

How about if you die 3 seconds before or after the death doesn't register.

Smoke bomb worked fine in the Summer beta. Why? Because there was no lag.

They should "fix" lag and that will solve many problems (not only Smoke bomb, but also Regeneration etc.)

actually you can still get killed going into smoke bomb in the beta. There was even a medal for killing someone right as they smoke bombed away.

It didn't happen that often, though. But yeah, that medal was cool...

P2P lets all data, no matter how slow, eventually register. That's why it takes so long to kill guys sometimes. And the reason for so many simultaneous kill/deaths. Dedicated servers don't allow the data immediately after the first person gets the kill packet to register.

I am a smoke bomb-aholic. I've seen a lot of people kill me through it. If it happens once, I just know to hit it as soon as any damage comes my way. As long as I'm in that lobby I'm dying quicker and they are dying slower. So I hit it much quicker than normal. When the lobby changes, I usually can go back to waiting to activate sb when the screen turns a little gray.

I've even had a guy melee me during sb and teleport with me. I also had a dead guy teleport with me.

This is already there... actually, that thread is one of the best ones we have at the moment but people seems to forget about it easily.

 

I mean... c'mon, it's technical fixes... it's important... right?
