Carpet Bomb should cost only 5 medals.

I love this KB, cause this is pure technical, but 7 medals it's just to much to make it worth it.

There is a problem with having Medals unlock kickbacks - as of current each medal has exactly the same value towards your kickback -each medal gets you the same amount coser to your kickback wheather it a Five Not Alive or a lucky.

I actually think medals like covered, think vertically and marathon man and others like them that you get for accomplishing a specific task are a good thing. They are not the problem - Encouraging the use of cover = great, encouraging climbing = great,
encouraging moving around the map = great.
All those tpye of medals are great as they encourage good play.

The problem is that tryhards that are barely playing i.e. just staying in one general location, farming for kills while using the cheapest tactics and loadouts....etc. and just generally being a knobhead player and playing dirty get rewarded with medals.
They get rewarded with loads of medals without even doing anything (apart from killing). - This just encourages more of the same cheap tryhard knobhead behaviour.

A big part of that problem is the way the medals are given out (and some medals shouldnt exist). - you get a lot of them by pure chance and flukes of luck.
Take the Pull medal medal as an example. It is too easy to get. You could shoot someone and just by chance you get a Pull just because they jumped a small bit off the ground. it should only apply if they are in the air for a longer duration.
Medals like In Your Face are bad - dont encourage anything good.
Fistcuffs and Pray And Spray - you shouldnt be encouraged/rewarded to do/for that.

They should use money to unlock kickbacks - Each medal already has a $$ value e.g. Assassin is worth $1000 and Fistcuffs is worth $250.
They would just need to revalue the medals. This way you could be rewarded much more accomplishing a good task like Guard Duty compared to Fistcuffs where you would only be rewarded with a small amount.

It could also encourage more variety in playstyles - some extra medals can only be got when using negative boosters - Id suggest that be expanded to all medals like e.g. - be rewarded for using Team Safe

This would be much better that it is currently.
