I got GoTY just for characters. Ask anyone I've played with. My DLC is always off, the only way they get me to play DLC is if the party leader isn't me and he has it on.
Even then, it's my first time seeing those maps. I don't need new maps. I haven't even played enough Highrise.
The FHC was and always will remain a scam.
Just because the company tells you the material is worth $45, so buy it for $25, you do what... salivate and lay down the cash?
Keep in mind, when it was laid out, they didn't tell us what would be in it. The refused to even discuss what was going to be in it. In fact, they use it, like many things, to cover the slow-assed development of the fixes and patches. And parts of the DLC were alread made, and on the disc, but you had to pay to unlock it.
Oh, but since this is the way things are done, apparently, people lapped it up.
On, and then they said, "Hey, we're giving you this, too!" People **** themselves in glee.
Apparently, none of you has an ounce of nous in you, and fall for anything. I'm warning you, don't watch late night tv, you'll end up buying all sorts of ****.
Well its probably the worst here in New Zealand.
- I got the game second hand in November 2011 for $60NZ (about 50US).
- Normally new games here are 120NZ or 100US.
- The FHC was $50NZ (42US, but about 44 at the time IIRC).
So I was getting to the point of having to double what I paid for the game - just for some mystery content which ended up being mostly reskins.
So in theory if I bought UC3 upon release with the FHC I would have paid $142US. Yup. The rushed single player with no extra features + nickle and dime multiplayer = staying with Uncharted 2 ($40NZ for a fantastic single player and free multiplayer).
