Lololol, at 1:39 he pretty much sums it all up.

 

I personally have only ever seen two legit lag switchers and while one of them was succesful at abusing the hell out of it, the other was like this guy and pretty terrible, constantly freezing, dying, and then always killing after he was dead.

Eww, yuck.

 

That was blatantly lag switching, he stays in cover, shoots his dragon and gets a kill. I swear lag would not be that unnatural.

It's funny because the "white plug of death" was intended to stop people from lagswitching. I find it screwing me up more than helping anyone else.

The white plug is a bit lenient... for example, in UC2 MP you would freeze ONLY if you lost packets for 5000ms (5 seconds) or more.

I presume the same applies to UC3 MP as well. If the lagswitcher is fast enough (be able to get an undeserved kill in LESS than 5 secs), then he will not see the white plug. It makes sense.

Of course ND can tweak the duration and make it even more punitive (like 2000-3000ms)... but then again, laggers (people with chronic packet loss issues) would cry. Smiley Indifferent
