A ticket used in a party is a wasted ticket anyway.

I disagree, I played tournament with a friend last week, and when you play with 2 players, chanches that you lose are a lot less, and you only get 20% off, however, playing in a bigger party than 2 is not adviced, 40% off or more is to much...

I thought that the computations for the tourney was that you get 120% if you play alone and 100% if you're a pair, so that you actually should get the correct percentage of what your team did if you had a buddy?

I thought the same but when I played with someone else I got weird amount of points(numbers that end with 2, 3, 6 and 7). And when I played alone I always get numbers ending on 5 and 0. I guess it's 100% alone and 80% is for 2 players.

Wouldn't that mean 0% in a full party?

no, it never has been 120%, it works as the following:

the score you have you multiply with (1.2 - 0.2xnumber of players), so if you play alone it's 1.2 - 0.2 = 1, so you multiply with 1 if you play alone

the formula they use is (when you win, if you lose, the end result is divided by 10): (1000 + kills X 100 + deaths X -80 + assists X 25) X (1.2 - 0.2 X players in party )

so if you have 10 kills, 5 deaths and 2 assists, and you play alone (which means 1 player in party), then you get:

(1000 + 10 X 100 + 5 X -80 + 2 X 25 ) X (1.2 - 0.2 X 1) = (1000 + 1000 - 400 + 50) X (1.2 - 0.2) = 1650 X 1 = 1650 points

if you played in a party of 2, it would have been multiplied with 0.8, because 1.2 - 0.2 X 2 = 0.8, so then you get 20% off, if you play in a party of 5, then it is multiplied with 0.2, because 1.2 - 0.2 X 5 = 0.2, so then you get 80% off, just simple math stunt :smileywink:

Back in the olden days, you insert a quarter (or other currency) inside machines with these screens on them and you got to play a video game for a finite period of time until you died at which they would give you the option to "continue" by inserting yet another quarter.

They would design these games to let you play just long enough to where you felt some progress but just short of being satisfied so you would want to "beat the game" with your amazing amounts of "skill" when in reality it had more to do with amazing amounts of "money".

Some of these games would give you tickets that you could turn in for a big fluffy bunny... or a flaming skeleton with horns.

And then I got my first home console and stopped bothering with arcades and slimy guys raging & smoking incessantly. :smileyhappy:
