Every other third person shooter does it and it works. It will also encourage utilization of cover, methinks.
I don't think that it's necessary to punish strafers directly (that's what nerfs do).
Lowering recoil (aiming buff) while being in cover would do wonders IMHO.
It's a balance issue.
Why should you be as accurate moving side to side as standing or from cover?
If you are aiming and strafing, the reticule circle gets bigger.
In cover it's harder to get hit and people that strafe a lot tend to get more in head up gunfights which results into more deaths pretty much a risk and reward system.
In my opinion decreasing accuracy when strafing would turn Uncharted into a completely different game. Cover should be more useful though, but not by nerfing accuracy when strafing. I think things like increased reload speed, better blindfire accuracy and faster regeneration while in cover would help people using it a lot more.
Don't be silly guys. This IS the last Uncharted game. The trailer says so... UNLESS, they make a spin-off about Chloe Frazer where she might bare it all (ultimate fantasy). OR she might change her name legally to Lara Croft and suddenly become a Prequel for Tom Raider... Who knows
