15 replies 436 views Edited Sep 21, 2013

hello even with tlou release i still see a lot of people still playing it , all my friends still enjoy playing the game and i do as well . now tlou is like a desert most of players dumped it because the lack of mods or because GTA

i havent played tlou for a two months now its just a boring mp  , i only play uncharted or GTA

i love uncharted so much and i still hope that the game is still updating

uncharted 3 is still going strong after 2 years ... apparently uncharted 2 still has a decent player pool too (from what i hear) ... with ND's continuing support on uncharted 3, people will keep coming back to it (me included)

Uncharted is safe from GTA...

I'm probably moving to GTA but it's not because of a lack of love for Uncharted. Uncharted 3 is just old now.. and GTA is a new challenge.

Still Uncharted unlike TLOU has a solid gameplay foundation that plays out in various different styles and multiple different ways to get your thrills.

Most of Uncharted's players will be playing Uncharted 3 way into PS4 era.. Until Uncharted 4. Even I'll probably return once I'm done with GTA.

It's just too good to stay away from.

TLoU isn't a wasteland and it plays better than U3. I typically play U3 once a week at this point. Just to take a break from TLoU. Sadly U3 usually drives me right back to TLoU because of it's insufferable lag. But when it's not allowing laggers into every lobby, it's still my overall favorite game.

U3 will live on until the PS3 side of PSN is shut down or Mexico is nuked :smileyvery-happy:

The reason Uncharted games will never die is because they are so unique. While other games may be similar to each other, I firmly believe that Uncharted doesn't have a true comparison. You got FPS, which can be narrowed to Military FPS, and TPS, with respective sub-categories. Oh, and don't forget racers (Sim and Arcade and Kart) or Fighters (2D and 3D). So in my opinion, Uncharted 3 couldn't be put into a sub-category of TPS.

The worst part about all of this is the potential. With so much great material to work with, they could clearly start a new branch of trendy Multiplayers. But as of now, Naughty Dog doesn't even know how to make their own Multiplayer work, thus making it seem like broken concepts/game. Not saying I would "leave" the Uncharted franchise for other MP's, but I would love to see other developers take on a Cover-based, platformer, movement focused, TPS Multiplayer.

Unfortunately I cannot enjoy UC3 anymore unless i'm playing with friends, the awful lag & BS that comes along with UC3 I can deal with. But normally I use to enjoy playing Solo instead of running around in a party non stop but it seems the IQ of the current player base is at an all time low, the brain dead incompetent team-mates I get if I play Solo simply turns the fun into frustration. :smileysad:
