First let me state that you cannot and I repeat CANNOT shoot missiles out the ass of your plane or acquire a lock behind your plane.
With that said the worst you can actually do backwards is the uncharged lightning gun a move which Someone not me invented(edited just for my #1 babe Adam) and is the most impractical thing you could ever think of. You have absolutely 0 accuracy by doing that the sparks will head where you had the aiming reticule before you started flying backwards so its like you tied a string to a pole and your trying to hit someone with the string but the string isnt one continous stream it has breaks in it(i hope that made sense).
As for the acquiring backwards locks that is also just an exageration you can get a lock by aiming the nose of your plane sort of up so the targeting reticule is on your side but that is extremely hard to do and you literally have to put in alot of time to even be able to pull that off and even if youve mastered it the other plane has to be in the perfect postion for you to get it so its also not practical. What is possible is keeping a lock behind your back and then flipping over when your opponent is chasing you (you have to be facing the other plane to fire the missle) so you get them by surprise. That is giving you a unfair advantage and not even i do that.
All you can really do is look behind you so you know what the other guy is doing THATS IT! What I use backwards flying for is just to track my opponent. I just boost away from them looking behind me so i can see them and when I get enough distance i flip around and lock a homing missles the normal way nothing special or tricky about it. I could do this exact same thing Using Pro flight or Normal just using the radar its not hard..
It's just mostly used for homings or for imcompetent pilots who can't even lock swarms with out it..
SuperCharged is the one who popularized this with his backwards TOW move but then he applied this to all aspects of flying normal and everyone just copied him and now abuse it for everything.
I fly both Normal and Pro Flight I am way better at Normal but atleast decent at Pro Flight and i don't find it difficult to kill them so i dont see why all the so called "elite" Pro flight pilots come on here and complain 24/7..
Just taught I would straighten some things out because alot of Pro pilots think that they cannot be killed by a Normal pilot he must have some sort of really great advantage over them..
Oh and Here's how you do it for those of you that don't already know:

1)Use Normal flight(uncheck Pro flight in the control menu for warhawks(kind of a no brainer)).
2)pull back on the right analog stick.
3)once your plane is about half way thru the loop and the nose of the plane is facing your screen(you) start moving the right stick up and down to keep the camera looking behind you.
4)Hold R2 and L2 so you can quickly flip around and lock missles.
Thats it..
Complainers step your game up..

Supercharged's moves are kinda ridiculous. The backwards TOW/Charged LG are almost impossible to counter. The only reason I won't say it's cheating/ glitching is because it is unbelievably hard to pull off. For all intents and purposes, you are firing these blindly. If you wait for your reticle to turn red, or to line up a shot, it's already to late and you'll overshoot your chaser. I know it's a difficult move that is difficult to master, so if I get hit with one of these, I give props. But for real, how many people are really good at this move? 20 out of 750,000...just take the death and move on.
Shooting uncharged LG out of ur ass, aka Fuzusa's move, is straight up cheating/glitching. Kinda makes me upset that people use this move. Same with the holding locks behind you. I really wish they could make a patch to take this out of the game, but like I said, don't hold ur breath.
