Warhawk (PS3)

Hey I recently bought Warhawk for PS3 and I LOVE IT! 

The back of the box says 1-4 Player, and I know that it's possible to play 4 player split screen But here's my problem..

1st Controller works great full screen

2nd Controller joins in fine to make it 2 player split-screen

   however

3rd controller pressing start does nothing

4rd controller pressing start does nothing

Basically I can't play 3-4 player, I can only play 1-2 player.. Does anyone know what I can do? Thanks!

I don't know what to say. Is the game full after the first 2 people are in?

No, unfortunately the max is 12.. Strange..

When attempting to play 4 player split, are you trying to do so online, or offline? And I only ever remember seeing 2 player split online, never heard of 4 player, but if you're trying online, Warhawk autodetects your bandwith, perhaps it's not enough to support it. But I'm guessing 4 player is only for LAN, and to do that you'd have to be plugged into a router, not a modem.

I've played 4 people online.

Strange.  I've played four-player online assuming 1) there is still room left in the game for two more, and 2) that I am not on a ranked server.

Never heard of that....

Is it just online, or are you having the same problem in LAN servers?

Problem is resolved. 

It was quite strange.. I'm not crazy either.. every server I joined, every lan/online game I hosted it would only allow 2.. BUT now.. at least for local, it works. 

I believe the setting that fixed it was unchecking forced equal teams.

I've played 4 player online.

maybe there were not 4 spaces available in the game?  Make sure there are at least 5 less than a full room.
