Dammit! I'm trying to create a thread here for a game but every time I do it gets put up faster.. Is there a way to PM a mod or something?

What's really wrong with duplicate threads though?

I mean, the thread you created was in Off-Topic, therefore your audience should be Off-Topic.

I understand all the House Rules and why duplicate threads aren't appreciated, but really, there's no need to stick to the rules so closely. If the thread was intended for Off-Topic, it should have no need to be moved to a section it wasn't intended for, regardless of existing threads.

Possibly going to start something here, but oh well. I stand by my opinion unless someone can persuade me otherwise.

His thread about Infamous was moved from Off Topic to here.

Off-Topic is not about the 'audience', it's about the content. Playstation-related discussions, regardless of who you're gearing them to, are for Playstation General. Everything-else-related discussions are for Off-Topic. Unlike GD, the community here is far too large for discussions to be thrown around willy nilly based on who you want to respond.

Edit: It's the exact same vice versa. I can't create a thread on WWII era economics in PS General just because I'd rather have feedbcak from the users here, and NOT expect it to be moved to the proper forum/pre-existing thread.

The point of Info threads is to provide info about a game as well as discuss it, as this is an Infamous info thread, it`s a place where people can discuss anything about Infamous: Second Son, that way you don`t get a bunch of threads about the same thing, if someone creates a new Infamous thread it would mostly be added to this info thread. Also as already stated Off Topic is designed for anything not playstation related, as infamous is playstation related it should be in Playstation General.

No need to get upset and swear about it.

You knew this thread was here...you posted in it on page one a little over a week ago.

I see.

I keep forgetting that it's different over here.

I can understand the latter, but I still have trouble understanding the former. His thread could have just been moved to another board and not merged with another thread, because he wasn't really providing info on the game rather asking who's excited for it.

Still, I'm not a mod, and it's probably not a good idea for me to argue with one. Especially not over something so trivial.

Oh well.

Sorry, didn't see this earlier. I guess that makes my point a bit invalid now huh? Smiley Very Happy

Just a heads up... There's a new inFAMOUS Second Son blog post up on the PlayStation Blog.

The Article is included, in part, below. Be sure to head over to the blog to comment.

inFAMOUS Second Son Hands-on: Great Power, Great Responsibility

inFAMOUS Second Son

Delsin Rowe strolls down a shadowy length of docks with ample confidence. Caches of illegal drugs have been hidden among the houseboats moored there, which is a disagreeable notion to our super-powered, rough-around-the-edges hero.

But with eye-searing neon and seething smoke at his disposal, Delsin has little to fear from the drug peddlers peppering him with gunfire. Bullets ricochet off the flashing neon light around his head as he flinches — they’re more an annoyance than a danger. As he leaps into the air to greet his enemies, powers flaring to life, he can destroy them or subdue them. And that’s up to the player.

Choice has always played a vital role in the inFAMOUS series, and inFAMOUS Second Son is no exception. Amidst all the open-world action that developer Sucker Punch has set in its own Seattle, Delsin can enter combat as a careful hero or a ruthless force. These methods of play not only affect how each battle scene is approached, but how Delsin’s powers manifest themselves.
